Samsung dosyć szczegółowo wymienia czego można się po nim jeszcze spodziewać w kwestii aktualizacji. Podzielił swoje urządzenia z Androidem na 3 grupy wsparcia. Jest jeszcze 4. grupa - zupełnego porzucenia produktu, której nie wymienia. Galaxy S7 i S7 edge nie wypadły szczęśliwie (?) do tej 4. grupy, natomiast dziwić może, że Galaxy S7 Active jest nadal w prestiżowej grupie comiesięcznych aktualizacji. Czyli dla wzmacnianego bliźniaka da się wysyłać aktualizacje, a dla milionów zwykłych S7 już nie?
